- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆August 03, 2019, by matt mossbergJust got turned down because the clerk didnt know if my out of state driver's license was real. It's barcoded. It's got holograms and water marks. It's verifiable. He just said "sorry, i don't know if it's real. Don't you have California ID?" I just moved here. And his apology was in no way sincere. My license is valid and has been repeatedly scanned and verified by other vendors in this state. If you don't know what valid ID looks like, how about you get the scanning system every other vendor that requires ID uses instead of turning away customers?
